4th of July Parade

July 4th Parade

Fourth of July Parade – Chester, CA – We entered the annual 4th of July Parade in Chester, CA in 2010 as the “Off-Road Patriots” and used three Polaris UTVs as our platforms for showing off the vehicles and our patriotism. The kids and adults all worked hard to add red, white and blue to the UTVs and it was pretty neat that we actually had one vehicle of each color.

Apparently we did a good enough job that the judges awarded us First Place in the group category! Pretty awesome for our first attempt.

Thousands of people lined Main Street in Chester, and kids all collected candy that we threw out. And it was pretty warm so many were happy to get a little relief from the squirt guns.

Please note: We were traveling at a very slow rate of speed (less than 5 MPH) on a straight parade route. Otherwise we would always have our seat belts on, helmets on and no one in the back.
