New Racer Marketing School Answers Racers Sponsorship Questions

MESA, AZ SEPTEMBER 4, 2014: With many questions and strategies behind racing sponsorship, the topic is hot and continues to change daily. Charlene Bower, of Bower Motorsports Media, has taken 5 years worth of knowledge and training to develop an information packed Webinar Series that all levels and categories of racers can benefit from. Classes are easy to attend with Live sessions via the Internet scheduled on different days and times. See the upcoming schedule at www.RacerMarketingSchool.com. “Today’s sponsorship game is completely different from even a couple years ago,” said Charlene Bower, Instructor. “It’s your job as a racer to go fast, take chances, look pretty and talk well. It has been our job to help you take your successes, and even the races that didn’t turn out so well, and create a good media opportunity. We have been working at this everyday for over 5 years, and now it’s time for me to tell you everything I know! I am very excited about these classes and helping the racers and sponsors relationships prosper.”

Four hours of information is broken down into two classes, consisting of two hours each. The first class is focused on treating your racing as a business while we answer all your questions about how to get a sponsor. This includes, but not limited to, understanding what your marketing partners need from you as a racer and what opportunities you have to offer your sponsor. Charlene will show you block by block how to build a sponsorship proposal that will get you talking with a potential sponsor and will wrap up the first session with tips on how to close the deal and follow through.

The second class is focused on fulfilling that sponsorship proposal. Charlene will teach you sentence-by-sentence how to write a proper press release, how to create a list of who to distribute the release to and give you two different monthly recap working documents ready to send to your sponsors. Charlene will spend over an hour talking about the web, social media and multiple other media outlets that you can take advantage of. You will leave the class with a different outlook on sponsorship and a step above your competition.

We will send you class notes after each session so you can properly start executing the information immediately. We will also send you a post graduation gift! There will be multiple bonus sections loaded with secret tips and a Q&A session at the end of each session.

The cost of the class is only $199, a very simple investment into your race program that will pay off two-fold with your first successful sponsorship. “We want to put your team into a position where your sponsor is re-signing your contract before there is even a thought,” said Charlene. “Instead of the other way around where you are never quite sure if they will sign you again. Let’s take all the questions out of the equation and raise your level of value.”

Instructor Charlene Bower, founder of Bower Motorsports Media, took her very first job changing tires in a motorcycle shop. From there she went on to be a part of the management team of some nationally recognized multi-line powersports dealerships. After over 10 years in motorcycle retail management, it was time for a change. Putting 6 months aside to experience life as never before, she hooked up her truck to her trailer and wandered from ride spot to ride spot making up for lost weekends on her dirt bike and quad. While on the road, she found the love of photography and writing. When a private multi-line magazine company approached her to be a part of their sales team, it turned into the perfect match. The next few years were based around sales and relationship building, while learning the in’s and out’s of the media world, specifically in the Sand and UTV Markets. When the economy dropped severely and effected the magazine business, Charlene looked for the niche that needed filling. It didn’t take long to evaluate that quality PR to the media for needed content was in order. She works daily to consistently refine the process as the world of media has evolved quite drastically in the five years since opening Bower Motorsports Media. The company has grown to include different properties, all with media and marketing as the core to their creation, including: Race Team Store, I’m Not Just a Girl, Bower Media Promo Gifts, Shirt & Swag Club, Shirt & Bling Club and Offroad Newswire among others that are in testing phases. The Bower Media team is in the backdrop to some of the most successful racers, events and companies in the 4×4 market. It is normal to find Charlene at offroad events every weekend working to get the shots and the stories to bring the love of motorsports back to those that can’t be there.
