Rikki Rockett Drumset Auction set to raise funds for the BlueRibbon Coalition, Fast Aid and Wounded Warriors

POCATELLO, ID (August 17) Poison Spyder Customs recently teamed up with Rikki Rockett, drummer from the mega-band Poison, to create the Rockett Rubicon Jeep. That collaboration flowed both ways, with both teams also collaborating on a custom 4-piece Poison Spyder themed drum set, which will be given away in a raffle, the proceeds to benefit several worthy charities. Larry McCrae of Poison Spyder said,

“We’ve chosen three worthy charities to benefit from these raffle ticket sales. Fast-Aid, the Wounded Warriors Project and the BlueRibbon Coalition will split 100% of the proceeds of ticket sales.”

This special edition Poison Spyder drum set was designed by Rikki Rockett and hand-crafted by his Rockett Drum Works. The set includes: 18″ X 24″ Kick Drum; 9″ X 12″ Tom Drum; 14″ X 16″ Floor Tom Drum and 61?2″ X 12″ Snare Drum (does not include stands, cymbals, etc.). Each drum is handmade, wrapped in custom Poison Spyder graphics, and assembled with black powder-coated Rockett Drum Works hardware. The retail value of this drum set is around $3,200.00. Those who attended Poison Spyder’s Grand Opening celebration in April got to see Rikki Rockett himself play this drum set as he sat in with the band Un D Vided for a rocking cover of Poison’s “Nothing But A Good Time.”

Fast-Aid works to aid those who have been injured, or the families of those who have passed away, competing in off-road motorsports events. This organization has taken the lead in helping those affected by last year’s tragic California 200 accident, and have worked to raise awareness of safety issues for both participants and spectators of these events. The Wounded Warrior Project assists our service men and women returning from war with injuries. The BlueRibbon Coalition (BRC) is America’s premier advocate for maintaining public access to public lands, including motorized recreation. In short, they fight to keep trails open.

“All three of these are causes that we deeply believe in and are proud to support,” said McCrae.
“Poison Spyder has stepped up to the land-use plate many times to save trails,” said Del Albright, BRC Ambassador and spokesperson. “But this homerun tops the list. BlueRibbon is proud to have them on our team.”

Tickets are $5.00 each. Buy them HERE.
