Chandler, AZ October 28, 2014 — Every duner knows that Glamis is the place to be for Halloween! DragonFire will be representing everywhere from Competition Hill to Camp RZR. The trick will be to find us… sort of like a zombie “Where’s Waldo?” out in the badlands. We will give you a couple hints at where to find our handiwork, however.
Start your search at Camp RZR. According to our friends at Polaris, the Camp RZR Glamis schedule for Halloween weekend is packed full, including the XP1K2 Videopremiere on Friday night (the sequel to the wildly popular RJ Anderson video Mad Media did) and two giveaways on Saturday night, including a custom RZR XP 1000.
“DragonFire is prepped and ready to head out to Glamis to shred some sand,” says social media manager, Chris Moore. “Keep an eye out for us and come say hi. Also while you’re there be sure to stop by the RideNow Powersports booth at Camp RZR and check out the fully decked-out RacePace 2015 XP1K they have on display.” That is not the only DragonFire rig at Camp RZR, though.
“We are proud to have had a hand in building the American Sand Association raffle car that will be on display at Camp RZR for the Halloween festivities,” adds Moore. “You may remember we hosted the unveiling of the ASA’s 2015 XP 1000/4 raffle rig during the Sand Sports Super Show.” In addition to the patriotic red/white/blue graphics, the ASA RZR has been decked-out with HiBoy doors, RacePace front bumper, Flying V front brace, HeadAche bars and HighBack GT seats.
“We support the ASA’s mission to ‘unite, inform and mobilize’ people to protect access to the dunes. We share their belief in responsible, environmentally balanced management for all public lands, and we are honored to be able to work with ASA and Polaris for this worthy cause,” says Moore. Of course when it comes to flat-out flying, Chris says the crew can’t wait to charge Oldsmobile! “Be warned though, we definitely won’t be sitting still! Finding us in the Glamis dunes will be harder than finding that world traveler Waldo,” claims Chris.
If you can track us down at Glamis, be sure to say “trick or treat” — Snag a photo of the DragonFire crew out ripping it up and tag it #WhereIsDragonFire. DragonFire HQ will be sending out a treat to the best posts after the event.
