2012 Arctic Cat Prowler 550i XT

The Prowler 550i XT returns as the side-by-side that allows you to have it all: good looks, performance, and fun without breaking the bank. Arctic Cat engines lead the industry in quality and power.

The 550 H1 engine has a dominate 545cc, SOHC, single-cylinder, liquid cooled engine and is designed for a wide torque curve, with the smoothest power delivery via Electronic Fuel Injection. The Duramatic automatic transmission has dynamic engine braking with Low, High, Neutral and Reverse with an automotive-style, console mounted parking brake.

Storage adorns the 550i XT from one end to the other. Lift the hood and you will find a compartment that can hold 25 lbs. of gear and can double as a drainable ice cooler. The composite tilting cargo bed has a 600lb. payload with a pickup style tailgate.

The cab of every Prowler is equipped with comfortable, sculpted dual bucket seats with 3-point driver/passenger seat belts, a center console complete with drink holders, and dual 12v accessory plugs.
The front and rear suspensions are Fully Independent with a double A-arm front design and a double A-arm rear design with 10-in. of suspension travel and 10-in. of ground clearance. Spring preload adjustable shocks are used on all four corners for the ultimate in terrain and load adjustability and a front locking 4wd differential with an all-in-one 2wd/4wd/Diff Lock rocker switch button for quick engagement shifting and rear mounted swaybar for an industry leading ride while out on the trail.
