Turbo Z1 Arctic Cat Wildcat
UTV of the Month – February 2013

UTV enthusiasts are always on the hunt for more power, and we have seen many different engine swaps  over the years. None have looked as clean as this Wildcat.

turbo-charged Z1 4-stroke EFI engineGreg Biffle Enterprises took a factory Arctic Cat turbo-charged Z1 engine out of a Sno Pro snowmobile and stuffed it neatly into this Wildcat.  This conversion is so clean it almost looks like it came from the factory. The Z1 is mounted up to RZR XP front and rear differentials, and it is very hard to tell, but the lower/rear frame is completely new.

The chassis has not been lengthened and the suspension is still completely stock.

The beautiful thing about the choice of the Z1 engine is the factory power is 177-hp and 121 ft-lbs. of torque!

The incredible suspension in the stock Wildcat now has some serious power to make it a serious dune machine.
