Team Bradco at WORCS Round 1

Team Bradco rolls into 2015 as a two driver team. Competing in the PRO SXS 1000 is Cody in the 22 RZR XP 1000 and young gun Corbin in the 534 RZR XP 900. This team is a strong family unit and they strive to be the best at everything they set out to do.

Both Cody and Corbin qualified in the top 10 in their classes ensuring that they both would start on the first gate. A dense fog rolled in the morning of the race making visibility an issue. Corbin got a bit of a late jump on the green flag leaving him trying to pick his way through traffic in the first turn, traffic backed up a bit and he bounced off of another car causing him to break both pins that hold the spindle on ending his day before it got started. “My car felt great off the line, after the first bit of contact i felt something give out and the car shot off the track.” Well this young man is learning that racing is not a sure thing.

Cody got a decent start and rounded the first turn running in 6th place. “These guys are fast, we left the line into a turn one bottle neck. I got pinched and popped out in 6th.” By the second lap he was up into 5th and looking to make a pass for 4th. Then a loud band and the car was out of control. Something in the rear of the car let loose and it was all he had to keep it on the track. “I pulled off in a safe spot and looked back to my rear tire was kicked sideways. I knew my day was over.” The Team is looking forward to a rebound weekend when the WORCS series heads to Primm, Nevada for the second round of the series.
