Simpson Performance Products Acquires Twisted Stitch

New Braunfels, Texas, October 10, 2014 – Simpson has acquired the assets of Twisted Stitch, Inc., an Anaheim, California based manufacturer and marketer of seats for off-road recreational vehicles. Leo Grillas, who started Twisted Stitch Seats in 2007, will continue to lead Twisted Stitch Seats as its General Manager. Chad Berry will continue as Operations Manager. “We are pleased that Leo, Chad and the entire Twisted Stitch team have joined Simpson. Twisted Stitch has very high demand for its products. We believe we can provide the support they need to help them fill the high demand for their great seats,” said Chuck Davies, Simpson CEO.

Leo Grillas, founder of Twisted Stitch commented, “We have worked with the people at Simpson for years. We use Simpson belts, and they have bought our seats. I have long thought this would be a good fit to help us serve our customers better and grow faster.
