(Lake Elsinore – CA) – SDI is proud to announce our latest product for the UTV Suspension market, our SDI Elite Aluminum Top Out Spring Retainers for Fox 2.5 and 3.0 IBP Shocks. The upgraded metal top out spring retainers replace the stock, plastic pieces found within the Fox IBP shocks.
UTV Shocks are constantly under stress as the vehicle is driven, through shaft movements or outside factors generating heat. This heat can cause the plastic spring retainers to melt and break over time causing damage and poor shock performance. By replacing the plastic pieces with stronger, metal retainers, the risk of the plastic melting or breaking down is eliminated.
The Aluminum Top Out Spring retainers made in the USA from aircraft grade aluminum and are available as front or rear sets. Each set comes with enough retainers to replace a pair of shocks, and retail at 24.99. For fronts, use part UDCFSTOP-S, while rears use part number UDCFSTOP-L. They can also be included with rebuild and upgrade shock services through SDI for those who do not feel comfortable installing them.
