Professional motocross racer, Sara Price, has crossed over from 2-wheels to 4-wheels, racing in the WORCS 2013 Race Series. She transitioned nicely by grabbing the second place finish at Crazy Horse in Lake Havasu last March. She’s ready to give it a go again racing the Makin Trax car in the SXS Production 850 class at Sand Hollow, in Hurricane, Utah this weekend. Sara is not your typical woman, to say the least!
After the challenges with motocross injuries last year, she decided to trade in her race gear for an evening gown and bathing suit, representing motocross and competing in the Donald Trump Miss California Contest as well as flying to Canada to appear in a calendar photo shoot.
Sara’s getting back to the dirt and her true love, racing and having her own SR1 car built specifically for her by IMG Motorsports. She’s hoping to be racing in the Lucas Oil Off Road series, not only in short course racing but also in Baja where Sara grew up watching her dad race cars. She’s also been working with Dirt Live, the weekly TV show that features desert racers, manufacturers and industry professionals. Sara’s also looking forward to 2013 X Games, whether she’ll be racing again or not, we’ll have to wait and see!
Sara says, “she’d like to thank all of her fans who continue to support her in all of her endeavors, as well as her amazing sponsors: IMG Motorsports, Makin Trax Suspension, MotoMingle, ITP Tires and Wheels, Maxima Racing Oils, One Industries, DT1, AutoStyles Body & Paint, UTV Underground! Let’s see where this new road leads this talented lady to next!
