Ronnie Anderson Owns The Podium at WORCS

Ronnie Anderson is a young up and coming racer. “The Ice Cream Man” will be piloting the 520 Walker Evans Racing Polaris ACE 570 in the production 600 class and the 520 Walker Evans Racing XP1000 in the Pro Stock class. Pulling double duty is no easy task but Ronnie with the support of his great sponsors is looking forward to a great 2015 race season.

Dense fog rolled into Taft early Saturday morning. The racers were concerned with visibility issues and everyone was hoping the fog would lift by mid day. Around 1:00pm the first UTV classes were staged and ready to tackle the massive track. The fog started to thin just before the green flag dropped. Ronnie had a clear view to turn 1 and he put his GBC tires to work grabbing the hole shot and moving out front early.

Ronnie was passed by a Polaris RZR 570 that was racing in the same class early on lap 1. For the next 40 mins Ronnie would battle for 2nd with another ACE 570 only to be narrowly edged out on the last lap. Ronnie put on a great show for the fans by jumping the ACE huge off of everything. In the end Ronnie held on to a solid 3rd place finish and would start the season off in a good spot.

After his battle in production 600 Ronnie would climb into his Polaris XP1000 and line up against the sports best drivers. At this stage in the day the fog had lifted a little and the track was in prime condition. Being how Ronnie just raced this course earlier he had a slight advantage over the others.

His smooth driving style and fast place brought him home a solid 3rd place finish in Pro Stock SXS1000 class. This was a big weekend for Ronnie and the Walker Evans crew. 2015 is looking to be a promising season for this young man.
