Hells Revenge Trailhead to Overlook
Hells Gate
Hells Gate is one of the more popular obstacles. This slick rock chute is completely optional, and is fairly easy if you take the right line.
Mickey’s Hot Tub
Mickey’s Hot Tub is another of the more famous obstacles that is completely optional. The Hot Tubs consist of steep – and deep – natural bowl formations that accumulate stagnant water. The slickrock is made more slippery from the muddy sludge stuck to your tires – as well as those who went before you – making it just a bit tougher to claw your way back out.
Escalator
Escalator to Hell features a multi-tiered climb up a narrow V-shaped groove in the slickrock with a line that twists back and forth. A fatal move could cause you to end up back at the bottom. Some sections require pressing the tires against the sides, while other sections can lift a front wheel off the surface.
Tip-Over Challenge
Tip-Over Challenge was named back before UTVs entered the scene, and really isn’t as difficult as its’ name would lead you to believe.
