Rugged Radios has announced their Pink Radio Campaign fundraiser that will be releasing a selection of breast-cancer-themed pink radios –– a perfect addition to anyone’s rig. Yet, that’s not all; this cause is especially close to home for those at Rugged Radios. With one of their own employees –– Taryn Timothy –– battling breast cancer now, they have decided to add a charitable twist to the new pink facade on their already great products. All of the proceeds from the limited edition pink radio kits will be donated, with 50% of the profits going to offset Taryn’s medical bills, and the other 50% going to Mission Hope Medical Center in Santa Maria, California ––helping them continue their top-notch care “abiding commitment to fight against cancer” all across the central coast.
With only 50 kits available and a limit of one per customer, Rugged Radios is hoping to raise $21,150.00 for this great cause. The pink radios will be available starting this Friday, June 7th at 10:00 AM PST –– by phone only –– but they will go FAST.
