Monster Energy Kawasaki Joins Forces with 3-Time UTV Champ, Chad George

RIALTO, CA (3/03/10) – The reigning Modified UTV champion, Chad George will seek his 4th major championship as he takes new partner, Monster Energy Kawasaki, for an epic ride through the 2010 Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing season. Chad will debut the all new 2010 Monster Energy Kawasaki Teryx 4×4 by FUNCO Motorsports during Saturday’s season opener in front of a wild Las Vegas Motor Speedway crowd.
“We are happy to be going back to the LOORS (Lucas Oil Off-Road Series) to defend our title. We expect a fierce championship battle, but with the best driver,  vehicle, team and partners we will rise to the fight.” – Grant George, FUNCO Team Manager
“The FUNCO Teryx race team has proven time and time again that they have what it takes to be successful on the track. Monster Energy Kawasaki is proud to have them on the team for 2010 as they go for their 4th straight championship, and we’re confident we have given them a great vehicle to continue that dominance” – Reid Nordin, Kawasaki Motors Corp.
The 2010 Monster Energy Kawasaki Teryx 4×4 will feature aggressive 2010 styling as seen on showrooms floors, but boosted with a C&G Performance – Digitally Fuel Injected, V-Twin engine. The factory inspired 90-degree V-twin power-plant coupled with King Shocks, Beard Seats, Dalton Clutch and Maxxis Tires will round out an impressive performance package, that is sure to keep the Teryx Monster claws digging for more dirt.
Meanwhile, Chad and the team will stay safe and sound with the protection of Simpson Racing Products from head to toe.
When asked about the new relationship with Monster Energy Kawasaki, Chad shared with a grin, “Becoming a Monster Athlete is a dream come true, my dream will become the competition’s nightmare.”
With a record 3 major championships in 3 years, Chad’s enthusiasm to steal the 4th championship from all competitors should be nothing to take lightly. Keep a close eye out this season for this Monster Energy Kawasaki Teryx of Chad George. If you don’t hear him coming, it’s because he’s already out front.
