WORCS RACING ROUND 7 2015

Guthrie Racing traveled 20 plus hours across two states for round 7 of the WORCS Series. The lush forest setting of the Straddleline ORV park in McCleary, Washington is the greenest stop in the series.

Mitch Jr rolled into round 7 in the points lead. All season Mitch has been putting his unlimited XP1000 on the box. Round 7 was no different. He raced a smart race making sure to stay out front but not fall victim to a massive tree. So far this season Mitch has 5 wins and 2 seconds.

Round 7 was short a few of the regulars due to travel distance and schedule conflicts. The mix of heavy dust and tight single track trails through the tress made this course very difficult to pass. Mitch’s fifth lap was the fastest of the day but at this level everyone is pushing very hard. Mitch was able to hang on and finish strong with a solid 4th place finish. After 7 rounds of racing Mitch is 3rd place in points just 4 points of out 2nd.
