Lasher Motorsports is ready to ROCK this Weekend

This weekend marks the second race of the 2011 Best in the Desert Season. The Lasher Motorsports team will head to Las Vegas, NV to the Aliente Casino for Tech and Contingency tomorrow and then race day Saturday morning just outside of Alamo, NV. This race is a point to point race that will clock just over 300 miles of the scenic Nevada desert.

For those of you that will not be able to make it to the race to watch our help us you can track us online at www.racetheworld.net. We are car number 1924 and should be going off of the line about 7am with the motorcycles and quads.

The draw for starting positions wasn’t too favorable for us as we drew a 6th starting position with a couple of the fast guys in front of us. The good news is our Monster Energy Kawasaki is running very well right now and we feel like we are bringing a gun to a knife fight. If all goes according to plan we should be in the front of the pack in no time.

Since the Parker 250 we have made some significant improvements to our car that we fell will give us an advantage over the competition. We’ve upgraded the motor to a Muzzys 916cc, added Billet King’s new Rear brake kit to the car, tuned our clutches with EPI, installed a set of PRP Podium seats, and spent time tuning our XMF long travel kit with our Walker Evans shocks.
