GUTHRIE WINS HIS THIRD, BEAU POSTS FAST LAP AND RJ CLEARS THE LAGOON!
Lynden, Washington (March 26, 2013) – Round #3 of the 2013 WORCS Season brought the racers to Lake Havasu, AZ for a super event at Crazy Horse Campground. Always known as rough track, this weekend’s combined super event (ATV, UTV & Bikes) made for an unmatched, brutally tough challenge.
The Holz Team prides it self on performance, dedication and results. Round #3 proved to be more of the same with Holz-equipped racers posting class wins in four of the five of the SXS classes: SXS Pro Production, SXS Production 1000, SXS Production 700 and SXS Production 600.
Ronnie Anderson (younger brother of Team Driver RJ Anderson) scored his first major win in SXS Production 600 with his #352 Kroyer powered, Holz equipped Polaris RZR 570. Watch for more out of this up and comer!

In SXS Production 700 David Haagsma used his #422 Curtis Sparks powered, Holz equipped Polaris RZR 570 to post the fastest lap (7:29.99) and score his second win of the season, while teammate Michael Bunyea rounded out the podium with a third place finish.
While in the always competitive SXS Production 1000, the #751 of Mitch Guthrie, Jr. used smart driving to score his third straight win along with fastest lap (7:10.84) and a fourth overall. While Jake Greco drove his #777 to a solid second place finish.
Moving on to the biggest race of the WORCS line-up, the SXS Pro Production, you can always count on action. Beau Baron in the #549 HRP/Polaris/Maxxis RZR XP 900 was looking to extend his win streak while the #37 Walker Evans/Polaris/Loan-mart/HRP of RJ Anderson was set to break it. When the dust settled, neither driver really got what they wanted as they fell prey to mechanicals on the grueling, chopped out Crazy Horse course.

Champions prove themselves every time they’re on the track and that’s exactly these guys did. Beau lead the race prior to break¬ing a ball joint and posted the fastest lap (6:46.49). After flipping his car in the deep tracks of the start, RJ righted the car and got back underway working his way to the front. RJ Anderson was the only other racer to break 7 minutes posting a best lap of 6:51.18. RJ thrilled the fans with his lagoon jump on every lap. The green Polaris/Loanmart/Holz car would come blasting out of the corner and go into Dukes of Hazard mode and clear the water gap to the cheers of the fans but suffered a mechanical within view of the finish line. And a congratulations to the SXS Pro Production winner, Holz-equipped Muzzy’s Polaris RZR XP of Robert Vanbeekum.

“We are really proud of all the Holz-equipped Polaris RZRs that are running out here in WORCS. Whether it’s our supported racers or guys buying the kits and parts, I think you’re seeing the fact that we build stuff that really works and we are here to support the sport of Side x Sides.” said Mark Holz
Next up the HRP UTV Racers will be ready to do battle for next round of WORCS Series April 19th in Hurricane, UT, the Coastal GNCC team will be ready for the Big Buck in Union, SC on April 20th, while Mark Holz and Scott Kiger’s Coastal/Holz RZR XP will compete at the Best in the Desert Silver State 300 on May 5th.
