First Annual SlikRok UTV Palooza

Let’s just start this off with, if you found yourself in Logan, Utah on September 16th at SlikRok’s UTV Palooza you were not disappointed. This event was entertaining, well organized, and surrounded by breath taking views of the Rocky Mountains.

The event was organized by SlikRok Productions, and if you’re unfamiliar with who exactly SlikRok Productions is or what they do, a quick google search will bring up a whole slew of hardcore adrenaline filled videos highlighting some of the world’s most renown places for rock crawling and trail riding in Moab Utah or Sand Hollow. Just a warning though. Once you start watching their videos it is hard to get anything else done. They not only have these entertaining to watch action videos but spend their time filming instructional/installation videos, product review videos and most importantly they seem to have a good time while doing it.

Jake Andersen started SlikRok productions with the focus of making entertaining content and it has grown into much more than that these days. With friends Curt Miles and Cody Frederick, this team of 3 focuses on providing the consumer marketplace with information on which companies out there make quality products and bringing off road enthusiast together. Jake said, “We are all going to spend our hard-earned money, our job at SlikRok Productions is to make sure we spend it with the companies that care about building quality products, and are there to support their customers. Quality Parts, Quality Companies and Fair Priced are the 3 things you must have for us to get behind you.” Pretty cool philosophy they have!

So back to the UTV Palooza Event. The day was packed full with many events for all to enjoy, whether you were a spectator or participating. There was, Slow Drag Races, Broke down UTV Pull, Women’s UTV Parts Challenge, A Show N Shine that featured some of the most beautiful and well-built machines we have ever had the pleasure of seeing, a Fast Lap Race that consisted of 5 laps where some went all out for the $500 cash prize and 4’ tall trophy, and on top of all that they had a raffle and gave away over 12K in Parts, Prizes, and Gift Cards. This was a fun event that the whole family enjoyed.

The event was hosted by Renegade Sports of Logan, and this venue was the perfect setting. Nice grassy area, amazing facilities, mini golf, go karts, plenty of parking, and of course the race track where the fast lap was held. SlikRok Productions plans to make this a yearly event and they promised that next years will be even bigger and better. SlikRok Productions thanked all their sponsors for making this event possible.
