Cody Miller makes History at King of the Hammers

Cody Miller

First ever UTV to finish in the 4400 Unlimited Class

Cody Miller backed up his ninth-place finish in the 2020 Can-Am UTV King of the Hammers Race Presented by HCR by taking on the big dogs in the 4400 Unlimited Class. Miller was up against vehicles with no restrictions on engine size, tire size, suspension travel, etc.

Of the 105 vehicles that started the Nitto KOH Powered by OPTIMA Batteries race, only 44 were able to complete the course within the specified 14-hour time limit. Miller posted an impressive 15th place finish against trucks with 800+ HP and tires as large as 54″.

Miller relied on 32″ Maxxis Roxxzillas to carry him to the finish of the brutal 212-mile course, “The Maxxis tires just hooked right up and we went straight up that thing, and we almost flipped the first time we went up, and then we hit it with just a little bit of momentum, and the car was nice and compliant, and we got to the top of that hill.”
