ATVRiders.com’s Kawasaki Teryx Project

Long Travel Kawasaki Teryx

Our friends over at ATVRiders.com have a nice Kawasaki Teryx project underway and had it in the Lonestar Racing booth at the recent Dealer Expo in Indianapolis.

The Teryx features Lonestar Racing’s +5″ XTR-F Long Travel Suspension. The bolt-on kit is 5″ wider per side and has a 1″ rear placement for optimum performance. The kit is designed to have 15.5″ of front suspension travel and 15.5″ of rear suspension travel using special Fox Racing Shox long travel shocks.

It comes with front and rear shock towers for perfect geometry and is specifically for the new
Fox Racing Shox 2.0 Position Sensitive Shocks with DSC. It uses a dual rate 8.5″ travel shock up front, and a dual rate 10″ shock in the rear for the best performance possible for your Teryx. The new shocks provide extra resistance against bottoming out, and still provide a nice smooth and controlled ride. The Fox shocks come with dual rate springs, piggy back reservoirs, and with high and low speed compression adjustment.

We will be using the same suspension on our 2011 Kawasaki Teryx build and can’t wait to get everything installed.

Be sure to check out ATVRiders.com for updates on their Teryx project as well. Harlen has a great photo gallery from the Dealer Expo that is worth checking out too.
