The all-new 2016 Arctic Cat Prowler HDX™ 700 XT™ is ready to go to work for you. This HDX has taken on the sleek new look and features of the 2015 Prowler® XTs but has kept its tough and rugged work ethic. In addition to the class-leading 1,000-lb. capacity transformable box, three-passenger seating and fully independent suspension with pressure-adjustable FOX FLOAT® rear shocks, we’ve now added high-quality Surlyn® body panels, automotive-style hood and redesigned dash, as well as reduced engine noise by 8 decibels. This HDX is now the total package.
700 H1 4-Stroke Engine with EFI
The 2016 HDX has a powerful 700 H1, 695cc, liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, except we’ve added a few improvements. The new closed-loop EFI system uses an O2 (oxygen) sensor to automatically adjust for ideal exhaust air-to-fuel ratio. This clean-burning engine produces excellent throttle response and superior thermal efficiency. We’ve also cut engine noise by 8 decibels.

This hood opens from the front, just like your pickup. So it’s easier to gain access to the massive 22.4 gallon underhood storage box. Plus you have easier access to the radiator and brake fluid reservoir. There’s even a lever on the hinge to lock the hood in the upright position.
