Kawasaki Teryx -
HID Replacement Lights

Information:
The HID light kit comes with wire
harness, ballasts and new HID bulbs. It is a plug and play light replacement
for the Kawasaki Teryx.
This kit utilizes 6000k 35 watt bulbs
for the whitest in white light that put out six times the amount of light of
the factory halogen lights. The lights fit directly into the factory
headlight housings.
HID lights also use much less power
than factory halogen bulbs. Each HID ballast draws only 3.8 amps.
Installation:
Remove headlight cover (5 phillips screws)
Disconnect wire harness (white triangle) and then pull light out.
Remove light fixture from black cover - two 8mm bolts on the side and the
phillips light adjustment screw.
Remove wire connector, then pull off rubber boot.
Remove stock halogen bulb and replace with new HID bulb. Then replace
boot and put grommet on the outside of the boot.
Mount ballast using double sided tape and zip ties.
Conclusion:
Combined HID (left) and Halogen (right)
Single Halogen only
Single HID only
As you can see, the HID light is much brighter and whiter.
