Product Review

Kawasaki Teryx Airbox Lid Cover
Kawasaki Teryx - Airbox Cover

Information:

I run with my airbox lid off on my Kawasaki Teryx.  The performance is good, but the filter gets dirty so quick, the benefits aren't worth the hassle of a dirty filter after just a short bit of riding in dusty conditions.

I had used an airbox cover from EHS Racing on a few of my ATVs in the past, and was very happy with the results. I checked the EHS Racing website, and to my dismay, there was nothing listed for the Kawasaki Teryx.  Not one to give up that easily, I picked up the phone and talked to Eric at EHS Racing.

Eric didn't have anything made yet, but said he would get right on it.  A week later, the airbox cover was shipped.

The cover takes a little bit of work to cut out the center section of the lid and drill a few holes, but it took me about 1/2 an hour.

Installation:

Mark the area to be cut.  I used a jig saw.  Cut does not need to be perfect (obviously).

I did grind down a few of the vertical pieces on the inside so the nuts would sit flush.

Bolt it all up and you are done!
