Team Jean XMF Polaris RZR Takes VORRA Round 3 at Prairie City

Folsom, CA – October 29, 2011 – The weather for VORRA’s round 3 of the short course series was perfect, mid 70’s and clear. The schedule was changed up due to the double header weekend so Saturday would have two quick 15 minute practices then straight into the races. UTV’s would be the 6th race off the line.

During practice we had a little glitch as we broke a rear CV on the 2nd lap. Thanks to the help of Cook Racing we had the axle changed out in less than 10 minutes and we shot out for the 2nd practice to make sure everything was okay.

Moto 1 had three 800 and three 1000 UTV’s. Our Holz Stage III motor shot us out of the gate and we grabbed the hole shot. We were able to hold off the 1000cc #1954 for about 3 laps. The 800cc 777 was close in tow and we battled to the finish for a 1st place in moto #1 and a 2nd place overall in the UTV class.

Moto 2 was a repeat of with our quick 800cc RZR taking the hole shot over the 1954 and 777. Once again we were only able to hold off the 1954 for about 3 laps, but once again finished 1st place with a 2nd overall in the UTV class.

Moto 3 we were once again able to grab the hole shot. This moto the 777 had figured out our lines and was able to get around us as well as the 1954. We stayed in tow and finshed in 2nd place right behind the 777 with a 3rd place overall in the UTV class.

Our two 1st place and one 2nd place finish gave us a 1st overall for round #3 in the 800cc UTV’s.
