UTV accessory innovators introduce a new line of gun holders designed specifically for UTVs.
Fuquay Varina, NC – July 19, 2017 – Seizmik, the leader in UTV accessory innovation, announced a new line of gun holders designed specifically for UTVs. The North Carolina based company, which prides itself on bringing uncompromised design to its line of UTV and Side by Side accessories, will offer four different products to UTV owners looking for safe and secure transportation of their weapons.
“When we looked at the gun holders available on the market, it was painfully clear that none of the products were designed specifically for use on UTVs,” says President of Seizmik, Steve Shankin. “Those products were designed for other applications, like ATVs or trucks, then adapted to work on UTVs. Since we specialize in UTV accessories, we set out to design the absolute best gun holders for UTVs—with no compromises or sacrifices. We spent a tremendous amount of time and energy in the process, and we’re incredibly pleased with
The new line of products from Seizmik include: the ICOS (In Cab On Seat); the OHGR (OverHead Gun Rack); the Armory SST (Secure Storage & Transport); and the Armory X Rack. All of the products were conceived with the sole purpose of providing the best possible choices for sportsmen to carry their long guns on their UTVs. The entire product line will be available mid-late August through powersports, farm, and agricultural dealers.
The ICOS (MRSP $149.99) requires no tools, installs in seconds, and utilizes the vehicle’s existing seat belt to mount within the UTV. It offers fantastic muzzle control, keeping the gun barrels pointed safely at the floor of the vehicle. Made entirely of closed cell foam, the ICOS provides two padded channels that won’t damage the gun’s finish or come in contact with the weapon’s optics or sights. Compression straps with buckles (i.e. no Velcro® straps) are used to secure the gun within the channels, so storing or retrieving a weapon won’t alert game. The ICOS’s brilliance is its simplicity.
The OHGR (MSRP $149.99) installs on the ROPS (rollover protection system) of most vehicles and stores the guns overhead and out of the way. Made with premium materials like glass-filled nylon and cast aluminum, the OHGR (pronounced ‘ogre’) looks as good as your guns—not like something someone made in the garage. The premium rubber lined jaws wont scratch or mar the finish of the weapon, keeping the gun away from metal surfaces at all times. The rubber straps that hold the gun in place offer stealth operation when storing or removing guns from the OHGR. Fitments include options for 1.5”, 1.621.625”, 1.75”, 1.875”, and 2” round tube cages as well as the Polaris Lock & Ride® Pro Fit system.
The Armory SST gun case (MSRP $199.99) andthe Armory X Rack (MSRP $159.99) work in tandem to store and transport two weapons (requires two Armory SST cases and one Armory X Rack). The design of the system positions the cases over the dump bed of most vehicles, leaving the bed clear for gear or game. With the cases locked in place on the rack, the gunsare always pointed up and away for superior muzzle control. The Armory SST offers a unique locking hinge which keeps the case open, freeing up both hands to place, retrieve, or work on the gun while in the case. The shape of the case will accommodate any long gun up to 52” and ARs with or without optics. Moveable foam blocks inside the Armory SST case keep the weapon firmly in place, assuring nothing makes contact with the sights or optics even over the roughest terrain. There’s even enough room inside the Armory SST to store extra rounds, equipment, or cleaning supplies.
The Armory SST case is easily installed or removed from the Armory X Rack without the need for tools. A durable, glass-filled nylon lever is large enough to easily operate with gloves or mittens, and once released, the case lifts right out. With the Armory X Rack attached to both sides of the dump bed, its stiff, rigid, and strong—staying securely attached to the vehicle no matter how aggressive the terrain gets.
