Shingle Springs, CA (3/12/13) – What happens when you put the UTV industry’s aftermarket product leaders, equipped with the finest UTV’s on the planet, all in one place? Yep that’s right, a WAR ZONE, with UTV’s darting, sliding and bombing through the sky during the Second Annual UTV Industry Ride in Glamis Sand Dunes, California which was held on February 28-March 3, 2013.
The Industry-only event organized by UTVGuide.net, Fullerton Sand Sports and Pro-Armor, is the one time a year that the UTV industry’s favorite aftermarket manufactures get to take their factory gloves off and put on their driving gloves amongst their peers. It’s a time for the industry’s who’s-who to show their latest and greatest products, complete UTV builds, and their driving prowess in a relaxed, have-fun environment. It’s also opportunity for the aftermarket powerhouses to let loose in the dirt, and around the campfire by telling “fish” stories about their biggest jump, biggest hill climb or just making new friends in possibly the hottest powersport segment.
With each day’s schedule set for multiple huge, sand-blasting group rides, the engine builders, suspension manufactures, custom UTV builders and retailers all took to the flowing Glamis Sand Dunes to cover hundreds of square miles of mother natures baby powder. From dune to dune, shredding earth’s “goodness”, each company member had ample opportunity to show their best stuff including: Ryan Piplic of Cognito Motorsports, Dan Rosenzweig of Magnum Off-Road and Jon Crowley of Crowley Off-Road Racing all who brought their race UTV’s and let them fly!
