Rugged Routes Releases Arizona Map for Lowrance GPS Units

Arizona Off-Road Trails GPS

Fontana, Calif. – Rugged Routes, producer of high-resolution satellite maps loaded on an SD card designed exclusively for Lowrance GPS devices, has released an Arizona map consisting of 100 trails based on the Guide to Arizona Backroads & 4×4 Trails Guidebook by Funtreks.

“Rugged Routes customers have been requesting an Arizona map for a while,” said Founder and President of Rugged Routes Steven Lutz. “Our maps are mapped to be compatible with a Lowrance GPS, which is far more robust than using an app on a phone, and tracks speed and positioning more precisely. The SD card stores the map and removes the need to pre-plan and download your trip before you head out.”

The map works with Lowrance HDS and Elite Ti GPS Units and includes aerial imagery of the trails and trail heads. It’s also color-coded according to trail difficulty, as well as displays waypoints mentioned in the book. The waypoints are loaded with information, such as trail introductions, optional off-shoots, photo spots and hikes.

The map can be purchased at ruggedroutes.com/funtreks-guide-to-arizona-lowrance-map-by-rugged-routes-rr-lowftaz.html.

Some of Rugged Routes most popular maps include:

  • San Bernardino National Forest, Calif.
  • Johnson Valley, Calif.
  • Glamis Dunes, Calif.
  • Funtreks Guide to Colorado
  • Funtreks Guide to Moab, Utah

Maps start at $99 and can be purchased at RuggedRoutes.com. Lowrance GPS units are also available for purchase on the website.
