New Long Travel Suspension for Polaris RZR from Rancho


RANCHO® LONG-TRAVEL SUSPENSION FOR POLARIS RANGER RZR DELIVERS COMPLETE PERFORMANCE PACKAGE

INDIANAPOLIS, Feb. 13, 2009 – Rancho® has released a new 6-in. long-travel suspension system for the popular 2008-09 Polaris Ranger RZR to deliver increased suspension travel, improved ground clearance and enhanced stability.
Available through performance retailers nationwide, the new race-inspired Rancho suspension system for the 2008-09 Polaris Ranger RZR (p/n RS10101) was designed and tested by Rancho, one of the world’s most recognized brands of off-road suspension components and accessories. Rancho is manufactured and marketed by Tenneco Inc. (NYSE: TEN).
The Rancho Polaris Ranger RZR system (p/n RS10101) includes billet 6061 aluminum upper control 6-in. A-arms with contrast machining, HSLA steel lower control arms designed for high-clearance, and exclusive self-lubricating control arm bushings. Each Rancho RZR kit also includes high-strength inner tie rod ends, front and rear axle shafts, rod ends with high-alignments, and replacement front and rear brakelines.
Each Rancho Ranger RZR system includes popular Rancho® RS9000XL™ Pro Series Coil-Over Shocks, a race-proven, highly engineered shock design that has been custom engineered for popular UTV models. Rancho includes the front and rear shocks in the suspension upgrade kit.
The Rancho RZR system increases the A-arm width by six inches and the wheelbase by four inches (two inches added to the front and two inches added to the rear). The system provides 13 inches of wheel travel to the UTV.
Each Rancho RS9000XL Pro Series UTV shock is individually valved per application and includes a Rancho-exclusive high-performance self-lubricating replaceable composite bearing, anodized aluminum reservoir with stainless steel braided hose, a 1.375-in. diameter piston, a 16-mm piston rod and custom-rate Eibach® coil spring.
Each Rancho RS9000XL series shock includes the exclusive nine-position adjustable MyRide Tuning System and is available in the very popular liquid metallic sliver finish. The shocks include the slider, adjuster and spring retainer.
The Rancho shocks available for the 2008-09 Ranger RZR models include stock replacement shocks (front shock p/n RS19607-1; rear shock p/n RS19608-1) and long travel shocks (front shock p/n RS19605-1; rear shock p/n RS19606-1).
Every Rancho system includes all of the necessary components to complete the installation. No spindle modification or drilling is required during installation. Stock wheels can be re-used.

NEW LONG-TRAVEL SUSPENSION SYSTEM FROM RANCHO® BRINGS RACE-INSPIRED ENGINEERING TO RHINO MODELS

INDIANAPOLIS, Feb. 13, 2009 – Delivering an aggressive stance, improved ground clearance and more to the popular UTV, Rancho® has announced the release of a high-performance suspension system for 2004-07 and 2008-09 Yamaha Rhino vehicles.

One of the world’s most recognized brands of off-road suspension components and accessories, Rancho is manufactured and marketed by Tenneco Inc. (NYSE: TEN). Rancho headquarters are in Long Beach, Calif.Available through thousands of off-road performance retailers nationwide, the new Rancho system (p/n RS10001 for 2004-07 models, p/n RS10011 for 2008-09 models) features several engineering enhancements to make the system ideal for virtually any terrain, including desert, dune or off-road trails.

The Rancho Rhino long-travel suspension system increases the A-arm width by four inches on each side and increases the wheelbase by two inches to the front and rear. The system provides 11-inches of wheel travel with no body modification.

The system features billet 6061 aluminum upper control 4-in. A-arms with contrast machining, HSLA steel lower control arms, exclusive self- lubricating control arm bushings, and high-strength tie rod ends and inner tie rod. The system also includes adjustable front camber. Rancho utilizes high-strength rod ends and uniball in the system, and includes front and rear axle shafts and front and rear frame stiffeners.At the core of the Rancho suspension system are the brand’s world- renowned Rancho® RS9000XL™ Pro Series Coil-Over Shocks, a race-proven, highly engineered shock design that has been custom engineered for popular UTV models. Delivering the ultimate combination of convenience and performance, Rancho includes the front and rear shocks in the suspension upgrade kit.

Ideal for larger wheel and tire combinations, the new Rancho RS9000XL shock absorbers are available for lifted, lowered, towing, stock and custom off-road applications.

Finished in Liquid Metallic Silver, Rancho RS9000XL series shocks also are fully compatible with the Rancho MyRIDE™ Wireless Controller, a Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) award winning technology. The controller provides one-touch remote tuning of the MyRIDE Tuning System, another Rancho exclusive adjustability feature found on all RS9000XL series shocks. The Wireless Controller includes a variety of one-touch presets, including Highway, Sport, Tow/Haul, Off-Road, and a driver-determined MyRide, which allows the owner to set his own preferred ride setting and save it for future use.
