Anaheim, Calif – August 10, 2018 – GBC Motorsports returns for another year of intense racing and nail biting action with the 11th Annual Heartland Challenge on August 17-18 in beautiful Carlisle,Iowa. The Heartland Challenge has been a fan favorite for over a decade now, and has been the staging ground for some of the world’s most extreme battles and competitive rivalries in the sport of ATV and UTV racing. As we draw closer to the 2018 Challenge, the anticipation has been building for racers and fans alike, for what will go down as one of the most grueling 10 hours of racing known to man.
For this year’s Heartland Challenge, GBC Motorsports has introduced a few new additions, including an all-new Family class, where family members from separate classes can compete on the same team for a $500 payout. This year also marks the introduction of Team GBC Riding School. Consisting of GBC Motorsports’ own Walker Fowler, Johnny Gallagher, and WFR’s Mark Notman, the riding school will give racers hands-on tips and training from a few of the sport’s brightest and most accredited stars. The riding school will be a free event for all GBC Motorsports sponsored racers.
GBC Motorsports is a family company at its core, and remains deeply rooted in the same morals and values associated with family life. As a way of saying “thank you, from our family to yours,” we are offering a free set of our widely loved Mini-Master Performance tires to all youth participants at this year’s Challenge. Finally, for all the diehard racers at this year’s event, GBC Motorsports will be offering a $2,500 bounty reward for the top finishing team to beat the defending Champs Team GBC Yamaha composed of Walker Fowler, Johnny Gallagher and Mark Notman.
