Anaheim, Calif. – March 24, 2016 – GBC Motorsports racers turned out in force for the doubleheader WORCS race weekend in Lake Havasu, AZ. With points on the line for both the 4th and 5th rounds of the series, GBC racers left it all out on the course, earning 8 class wins and a total of 15 podium finishes on the weekend.
Side X Side Classes
In the Side X Side classes, Tim Wyatt led the way for GBC in the SXS Pro class with a 4th place finish in Round 4. Tim always seems to be the mark of consistency, rarely finishing outside the top 10 and often ending the season in the top 5 in point, and he’s on his way once again.

Mickey Thomas is putting together a solid season as well, finishing 7th in Round 4 after landing on the podium in the first three rounds.

The father-daughter duo of Randy and Sierra Romo had a successful weekend in Lake Havasu as well. Randy started things off with a 5th place finish in the SXS 1000 class in Round 4, and then really turned things around for Round 5 with a class victory, his second of the season. Sierra has been splitting time between classes this season, and knocked out a convincing Round 4 win in the SXS Womens class before finishing 6th in the SXS 1000 class in Round 5.

Danielle Weatherly joins Sierra Romo in the SXS Womens class. Danielle is another one of those constantly improving racers and has been dominant so far this season. After locking down victories in the first three rounds, Weatherly knocked out a 5th place finish in Round 4 and went on to win the class in Round 5.

Blake Barnum added a 2nd place podium finish in Round 4 in the SXS Pro Stock class, while Jason Meckler notched 4th place and 3rd place finishes in the SXS 900 Prod class. Linkon Leaverton added a podium for GBC with a 2nd place performance in the SXS 700 Prod class in Round 5.

Shelby Anderson is on an absolute tear this season in the SXS 1000 Stock class. She kept her perfect season alive, taking the checkers in both rounds, and holds a massive points lead over the rest of the field. Shelby also added a 1st place in the SXS 900 SS class in Round 4.
