FIRST RESPONDERS UTILIZE KAWASAKI MULE SIDE X SIDE

Kawasaki MULE

Kawasaki MULE™ side x side utility vehicles play an important role for first responders throughout the United States. The durability, size and maneuverability of the MULE side x side helps police, fire and emergency medical teams do their jobs on a daily basis. With a variety of available models, Kawasaki MULE side x sides provide first responders the right tool to get the job done.

One visible use of MULE side x sides by first responders in the powersports industry is the Alpinestars Mobile Medical Unit, which travels around the country providing on-site medical services at all AMA Supercross and AMA Pro Motocross events. It has used Kawasaki MULE side x sides since 2002 to facilitate patient transportation.
The staff of doctors, paramedics and EMTs rely on a fleet of three MULE side x sides to meet the challenging conditions they face on a weekly basis. Together with the full service mobile medical facility, the team travels with two MULE 4010 4×4 diesel models and a Sunbeam Red MULE SX side x side. The MULE platforms allow the Alpinestars team to get to downed riders quickly while also being able to navigate obstacles on the course.

“We have been using Kawasaki MULE side x sides for more than a decade,” said Tom Carson, Chief of Staff of the Alpinestars Mobile Medical Unit. “Our fleet of MULE side x sides is dependable and gives us the ability to provide consistent medical care at events. Kawasaki has provided the team a great platform to meet the many needs of the environment.”
Medical support at powersports events is just one of the many first responder uses for the Kawasaki MULE side x side lineup. In 2016 Kawasaki added Sunbeam Red as a model color to give departments providing a more visible MULE for use by first responders.
