FACTORY PIPE ANNOUNCES 10K CHALLENGE GRANT TO SUPPORT BRC LEGAL PROGRAM

UKIAH, CA (January 4) – Factory Pipe, manufacturer of world class aftermarket and original equipment exhaust systems, is announcing a $10,000 challenge grant program for 2010 to fund legal efforts to protect recreational access to public lands. Factory Pipe has created the Liberty Legal Fund, in memory of Warren and Corinne Liberty, at the BlueRibbon Coalition, a national trail-based advocacy group.

The Liberty Fund will match donations made in 2010 by other aftermarket companies up to $10,000.

Ross Liberty, owner and founder of Factory Pipe, states, “I have seen first hand the importance of having professional land use and legal representation in the battle to preserve and protect responsible OHV recreation on public and private lands.”

“I want to join the ongoing efforts by other off-road companies, such as Cycle Gear and Rocky Mountain ATV/MC, to support BRC. This program is designed to encourage the aftermarket industry to step up to the plate and help the cause,” Liberty said.

“The fight will be intense in 2010 as anti-OHV groups file lawsuits to shut-down motorized recreation. I want BRC to be there for my customers, friends, employees, and business associates who ride,” Liberty concludes.
