DRAGONFIRE DEBUTS TWO RZR TOPS

DragonFire RZR SunTop
Mesa, AZ – Call it what you will, DragonFire has introduced the coolest RZR accessory in the industry just in time for Dune Season to heat up. Available in both a “shorty” and a full-length version for the RZR 4, DragonFire has Polaris UTV owners covered this season with the debut of their new SunTop line of canvas roofs for the UTV crowd.

“When it comes to a long day out in the dunes or on the trail, having a roof is a great idea,” says DragonFire’s Chris Moore. “Unfortunately it can be a costly option. So we set out to design a cover that can protect you from the direct sunlight while still enjoying the open air comfort RZRs were made for… all without breaking the bank.” The SunTop is the result of plenty of R&D as well as borrowing some ideas from the boating and rock-crawling crowds.

“Using the proven ideas from other industries, we started with a super strong, yet light weight, canvas material that has been double-stitched for greater durability,” Chris claims. “Multiple mounting points help keep it from flapping in the breeze, and more importantly, quiet when blasting along the trail. We utilized a rubber-coated steel band clamp on each of the major down tubes in the factory roll cages with supporting Velcro straps to reduce the ‘balloon’ effect while driving.”

According to Moore, boating industry people refer to them as “bimini tops” – named after the island in the Bahamas where the sun’s rays are said to be particularly fierce – while the Jeep crowd calls them “bikini tops” … but DragonFire has coined the phrase “SunTop” for their marine-grade canvas roofs for the UTV crowd. “Since style is as important an element as fit and function, we made sure these tops conform to the stock cage with precisely cut patterns that give a factory look with three color options to choose from.

“Lastly, we designed the top to come in at a price point that was lower than other roof options on the market,” adds Moore. “We are proud to say that they are made in America.” Whether it is the trail capable RockSolidTM range, RacePace competition components or the new SunTop, DragonFire has all your RZR bases covered!
