TROY, Mich., July 16, 2014 – Dayco Products, LLC today announced it has been named the 2014 Large Industry Award winner by the Walterboro-Colleton Chamber of Commerce. This award, voted on by members of the Chamber, is given to a large industry that is a proven leader within the Walterboro, South Carolina community. Walterboro-Colleton Chamber of Commerce membership consists of over 300 members and only one industry, or business, can win this award.

In June 2013, Dayco celebrated 40 years of operation at its Walterboro, South Carolina belt manufacturing plant. Opened in 1973, the Walterboro plant is home to more than 130 employees who produce v-belts and serpentine belts for the both the original equipment industry and the automotive aftermarket, as well as performance belts for the ATV and snowmobile markets.
