Can-Am Maverick X3 side-by-side vehicle racer Beau Judge had a flawless weekend at round #2 of the NorCal SxS Winter Series. Utilizing the industry’s most powerful performance side-by-side vehicle, Beau made quick work of heats 1 and 2 then went on to win the final race held at Prairie City State Vehicle Recreation Area near Sacramento, California.
Beau has been racing the Nor Cal SxS Winter Series in a 172HP Can-Am Maverick X3 RC built by No Limit RD out of Loomis, CA. The X3 is setup for short course with No Limit cage, gusset kit and a-arms, specially valved FOX shocks and 28-inch BFG KM3 tires.
Beau made the switch to the Maverick X3 after racing a RZR for years and seems to be settling into his new vehicle very well. “Since I moved to the Turbo class I finally have a car that I can drive as hard as I can possibly drive,” said Beau Judge. “I feel like I can just put the car wherever I want with the most confidence I have ever felt on the track. We run a stock engine, with a light tune and I couldn’t be happier with the performance and suspension.”
Beau also recently took second place at WORCS in Primm after dialing in the short course shock package on his X3 in Barstow.
When not racing short course at NorCal SxS and WORCS, Beau codogs for Phil Blurton in the BITD UTV Pro Turbo series where they currently hold the lead for the 2018 series. The duo also took the 2017 BITD UTV Pro Turbo championship and plan to race King of the Hammers in 2019.
Beau is also thinking about campaigning the Lucas Oil series and WORCS in 2019, as well as the NorCal SxS races.
