On May 15, 2010, the American Sand Association Board Of Directors will be having an Information Meeting to discuss the proposed RAMP. The meeting will be hosted by Buckshot Racing at their facility in La Habra, California. The event will run from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Open to the general public and all members of the ASA, the upcoming information meeting will focus on the Bureau of Land Management’s pending Recreation Area Management Plan (RAMP). This is without a doubt one of the most important meetings that you can attend this year if you value your recreation experience in the Imperial Sand Dunes Recreation Area. The proposed BLM Imperial Sand Dunes Plan will change duning forever with the new rules and decisions being made. This is your opportunity to be heard. The BLM representatives will be in attendance at the meeting and they are interested in hearing your comments on the new proposed RAMP.
In addition to hosting the meeting, Buckshot Racing will be providing lunch and refreshments. The ASA/Banning Motorsports 2010 Giveaway Sand Car will also be on display, and tickets to win this car will be available for only $20 each. This is a great opportunity to hang out with other off-roaders and get valuable information regarding the land use issues that affect us all, as well as sign up for your free ASA membership.
