Arctic Cat Prowler XTX 700 H1

Arctic Cat Prowler XTX 700 H1 LE
Power
The 700 (officially it is a
695 cc) EFI has a decent amount of power for sport use. EFI
makes it easy to start and the engine runs real smooth. Seat of the pants
dyno tells me that the
Arctic Cat Prowler XTX 700 H1 LE has more power than
the 700 EFI Yamaha Rhino.
Center of Gravity

The biggest drawback to the Prowler is its' center of
gravity. The seats are more than 6" higher than a Rhino. You
literally have to climb up into the Prowler.
Size
The Prowler is deceivingly big. Taller, wider and longer
that a Polaris Ranger, it is a big vehicle.

The Prowler is much bigger than a Yamaha Rhino or a Rhino RZR
Hitch

The Prowler's hitch is 2" which is nice, but it is not
strong enough to handle a heavy trailer even though the towing capacity is
rated at 1500 lbs.
Ground Clearance

The Arctic Cat Prowler has great ground clearance - higher
than the Rhino, RZR and Ranger.
Seat Belts

The Arctic Cat Prowler comes from the factory with lap belts
- no shoulder straps. Don't expect to do much sport type riding
without moving to a 4 or 5 point harness setup. It just is not safe.
Roll Cage

Arctic Cat is the only UTV manufacturer that uses box tubing
for the roll cage. This makes if harder to add on an aftermarket cage.
Rear Differential Unlock

The Prowler's rear differential can be unlocked (open) so
grass won't be torn up and turning radius will decrease. This is a
great feature.
Dash

Controls are pretty easy to reach and instrumentation is
good. 110mph may be a bit high for the speedometer.
The "DIFF LOCK" switch seems a bit weak to me.
The parking brake is in the lower left - foot operated.
